Radiography
We offer the complete spectrum of X-ray diagnostics. You will find more detailed information on some of the examinations and the equipment below.
When is a conventional X-ray performed?
What should be considered before the examination?
All external objects should be removed from the examination area before the examination (e.g. jewellery, bra straps, etc.) to avoid overlaying. Special preparation is usually not necessary.
Procedure and duration
Depending on the specific problem, X-rays are taken while the patient is standing, sitting or lying down. For the images, the X-rays are focused on the area of interest (e.g. hand, shoulder, thorax, etc.). An image is taken in seconds after the patient has been positioned appropriately for the desired perspective.
A fluoroscopy examination takes up to 30 minutes, depending on the problem. For this purpose, it may be necessary for us to administer a contrast medium.
