The PET-CT combines two different types of imaging modalities with one another: the Positron-Emission- Tomography (PET) and Computer Tomography (CT).
PET-CT is the most modern diagnostic modality for diagnosis of even the smallest of tumors providing one with different images and informations. It provides one with fusion-images of PET (colored images) and CT (gray scale images) of different diseases and tumors.
